For myeloma patients and caregivers

CMDN Care: Your Myeloma Care Companion

CMDN Care is an English-language companion for myeloma patients and caregivers to organize lab reports, follow biomarker trends, track medications, and prepare questions for their care team.

English-language app. For health records and visit preparation; does not replace medical diagnosis.

Keep your records useful for every consultation

Organize lab reports

Use lab report OCR to help extract results from a report. Check every extracted value, unit, test name, and date against the original before using it.

Follow biomarker trends

Keep follow-up results together and view changes over time. Share the original reports and the trend with your care team; a chart alone cannot determine whether treatment is working.

Prepare for appointments

Bring a clearer record of your results and a list of questions to your next consultation, so you can discuss symptoms, treatment response, and next steps with your doctor.

Keep a medication record

Use the medication tracker to organize your prescribed regimen and calendar. Confirm the schedule with your care team and follow their prescription when anything differs.

Start with one recent report

  1. Open the English app and sign in. Use the sign-in options offered by CMDN Care, including Google or an email access code.
  2. Review the results. Check numbers, units, dates, and test names against the original report. Keep the original available for your doctor.
  3. Prepare your questions. Note changes or symptoms you want to discuss. Your care team decides what the results mean and whether your treatment needs to change.

Your care team interprets the results

Rule-based assessments using IMWG criteria cannot replace a clinical evaluation. Treatment response also depends on symptoms, imaging, marrow findings, and treatment history. Never change medication based only on app output.

For urgent symptoms, contact your treating team or local emergency service. Do not wait for the app.

Handle health records with care

Reports may include names, identification numbers, and other sensitive information. Caregivers should have the patient’s permission. Check the app’s current privacy information before uploading reports and avoid posting records or sign-in codes in public channels.

This public page explains the tool. Use the authenticated app for your personal records.

Questions about CMDN Care

Who is CMDN Care for?

CMDN Care is designed for myeloma patients and caregivers who want to organize health records and prepare for consultations. The English-language app is available at global-care.chinamyeloma.org.

How do I get started?

Open CMDN Care and sign in using one of the options offered by the app, including Google or an email access code. Start with a recent lab report and check extracted results against the original.

Can OCR results be wrong?

Yes. A scan may misread a number, unit, test name, or date. Review extracted results against the original report and correct errors before relying on a trend or discussing it with your care team.

Does a response assessment replace my doctor?

No. Any rule-based assessment using IMWG criteria is a record-organizing aid, not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. Your doctor must interpret results together with symptoms, imaging, marrow findings, and your treatment history.

How should caregivers handle reports?

Use the app with the patient’s permission. Health reports may contain names, identification numbers, and other sensitive information. Check the app’s current privacy information before uploading and avoid sharing records or access codes in public channels.

Can I use the app for urgent symptoms or to change treatment?

No. Contact your treating team or local emergency service when you need urgent care. Do not wait for an app assessment, stop medication, or change a dose based on a chart or automated output.

Bring a clearer record to your care team

Keep the original reports and use CMDN Care to prepare for the conversation.
